Unlocking the CSC Supercharger parts in the Discover Japan upgrade menu is one of the first things many players try to do after jumping into the new upgrade system in Forza Horizon 6. The challenge itself is not complicated, but it can become frustrating if you attempt it with the wrong car or a weak setup.

After testing multiple approaches, the fastest completion method is surprisingly simple: use a high-powered AWD build, give yourself a longer launch distance than the game suggests, and clear the jump in one clean attempt.

Why Most Players Fail the Challenge

The default approach point is too short for many cars, especially stock builds. A lot of players hit the ramp slightly under the required speed, which causes the jump to fall short by only a few meters.

The other common issue is unstable landings. Even if you clear the distance requirement, the car can spin or flip during landing and fail the challenge entirely.

That is why tuning matters much more here than pure horsepower alone.

Best Car for the Supercharger CSC Challenge

The most reliable option right now is the Toyota GR Supra with a proper AWD conversion and high-speed tuning setup.

A heavily modified S1 or S2 AWD car can also work, but the Supra remains the easiest and most consistent choice because of its acceleration and stability during long jumps.

Recommended Community Tune

Many players are currently using the shared tuning setup:

Share Code: 138141833

This tune is designed specifically for the Supercharger Challenge and focuses on:

  • Strong launch acceleration
  • Stable high-speed handling
  • Controlled mid-air balance
  • Safer landings after long jumps

Important Upgrade You Should Not Skip

One part actually makes a huge difference here: the large rear wing.

Normally, some players avoid rear aero upgrades because they reduce top speed slightly. For this challenge, though, the rear wing helps stabilize the car while airborne. Without it, the car can rotate mid-jump and ruin the landing.

It is one of the easiest ways to improve consistency.

Fastest Completion Method Step-by-Step

1. Pin the Challenge

Open the Festival Playlist and pin the Supercharger CSC Challenge so the route marker stays active while driving.

This makes it easier to line up the correct jump location without wasting time.

2. Ignore the Default Starting Point

This is the biggest trick.

Do not launch from the standard position near the ramp. Instead, reverse farther down the road and create a much longer run-up area.

A distance of roughly 400–500 meters works best.

The extra runway gives your AWD build enough time to fully reach top acceleration before the jump.

3. Hit the Ramp at the Correct Speed

Your target speed should be at least:

  • 120 mph
  • 193 km/h

Anything lower makes the challenge inconsistent.

Keep the car completely straight during the final approach. Small steering corrections right before takeoff can destabilize the jump.

4. Clear the Required Distance

The target distance is roughly:

213 meters≈700 feet213\text{ meters} \approx 700\text{ feet}213 meters≈700 feet

With the recommended tune and proper launch distance, you can usually clear this requirement comfortably in a single attempt.

5. Do Not Brake Mid-Air

A lot of failed runs happen because players tap the brakes during the jump.

Leave the car alone while airborne. Let the suspension settle naturally and aim for a clean four-wheel landing on the road or dirt path below.

If the car lands straight, the challenge should complete instantly.

Is AWD Required?

Technically no, but realistically yes.

RWD builds can complete the challenge, but they are far less forgiving during launch and landing. AWD setups give:

  • Better traction
  • Faster acceleration
  • More stability on takeoff
  • Safer landings

For quick completion, AWD is the clear choice.
