A lot of players hit Third Sea and instantly try to PvP, then wonder why they get destroyed.

Third Sea is where the game really opens up, but if your build is weak, your race is low, your mastery is bad, and your accessories are trash, you are going to get cooked.

Here is a simple checklist before you seriously start PvPing.

1. Reach max level first

Do not seriously focus on PvP before max level.

You can mess around for fun, but real PvP is way easier when you have full stats.

At lower levels, you usually have:

Low HP
Low damage
Bad mastery
Bad accessories
Incomplete race upgrades
Weak movement

Max level should be your first goal.

2. Fix your stats

Do not split your stats randomly.

For a fruit main build, use:

Melee
Defense
Blox Fruit

For a sword main build, use:

Melee
Defense
Sword

For a gun main build, use:

Melee
Defense
Gun

Most players should avoid hybrid builds until they actually understand PvP.

Simple builds are stronger for beginners.

3. Get a good race

Race matters a lot in PvP.

Good PvP races include:

Human for big damage
Shark for tankiness
Angel for air control and healing
Cyborg for pressure and breaking instinct
Ghoul for lifesteal and cooldowns
Mink/Rabbit for speed

You do not need the “perfect” race right away, but you should at least upgrade your race and learn what it does.

4. Upgrade your race

Having a race is not enough.

Try to get race upgrades instead of staying basic forever.

Race upgrades can give better mobility, survivability, damage, healing, or utility depending on the race.

If you are in Third Sea and still ignoring race upgrades, you are missing a lot of power.

5. Get a real accessory

Accessories can make a big difference.

Do not use random early-game accessories forever.

Pick one that matches your build.

Examples:

Damage accessory for fruit mains
Sword damage accessory for sword mains
Defense accessory if you keep dying
Mobility accessory if you need speed

Your accessory should support your playstyle.

6. Master your main fruit

Do not eat a fruit and immediately expect to win.

Get mastery on it first.

Learn the moves.
Learn the range.
Learn the cooldowns.
Learn the combos.
Learn when to run and reset.

A player with a simple fruit they understand can beat someone using a mythical fruit badly.

7. Get instinct and learn to use it

Instinct is extremely important.

It helps you dodge attacks and survive combos.

But do not just turn it on and forget about it. Good players know how to break instinct and bait dodges.

Learn when to use it and when to move instead.

8. Practice movement

PvP is not just damage.

Movement matters a lot.

Practice:

Dashing
Sky jumping
Flashing in and out
Keeping distance
Dodging combo starters
Using terrain
Escaping bad fights

If you stand still, you die.

9. Learn one simple combo

Do not try to learn 20 combos at once.

Start with one easy combo for your build.

Practice it until you can land it consistently.

A basic combo you can actually hit is better than a crazy combo you always miss.

10. Do not bounty hunt randomly at first

Bounty hunting sounds fun, but if you rush into every fight, you will just lose bounty.

Start by fighting friends, random low-pressure fights, or people near your skill level.

Once you understand your build, then start bounty hunting properly.

11. Stop blaming fruits

A lot of players lose and instantly say:

“Your fruit is spam.”
“Your race is carried.”
“Your build is no skill.”
“Lag.”

Sometimes that is true, but most of the time you just need more practice.

Every build has counters.
Every fruit has weaknesses.
Every player makes mistakes.

Focus on improving.

Final checklist

Before serious PvP, try to have:

Max level
Good stats
Good race
Race upgrades
Good accessory
Mastered fruit
Instinct
Decent movement
One reliable combo
A build you actually understand

After that, PvP becomes way more fun and way less frustrating.

Do not rush it. Build your account first, then start hunting.
